if your Kingston USB flash drive is protected and cannot be formatted, then the following tips can be useful:
Download Restore 3.17 (https://s.id/Restore317). this software only support windows os.
Open and run restore 3.17.
Click the “restore” button, wait for it to complete the restore process.
Open File exploler > choose disk usb drive > clik right mouse > choose format.
The USB drive has been successfully formatted and is ready to be used again.
